READOUT UNITS

Sisgeo portable readout units are battery operated indicators designed to read a variety of sensors. C6003 is a pocket-sized digital indicator with 3.5 digit LCD. No preliminary setup is required. It is easy to use and provides fast and accurate readings. VOLTA is a vibrating wire readout that utilizes Fourier transform to filter the harmonic frequencies in order to avoid erratic measurements. GALVANI is able to read any type of anchor load cell directly in kN. TORRICELLI is a dual channel readout unit configurable at factory for any type of sensor. Quick-connect terminals allow direct connection of sensor signal cables and battery chargers. All models of Sisgeo portable readout units are supplied with battery charger and jumper cables.

PORTABLE DATALOGGERS

Portable dataloggers are designed to provide measurements for all Sisgeo electronic sensors. They are durable, waterresistant, and come with a battery operated readout unit. Portable dataloggers are equipped with a high performance microprocessor. New Leonardo datalogger is capable of reading all types of Sisgeo’s sensors; it can display and store readings in different engineering units such as kPa, m, kN, microstrain, °C, angle and sin alpha. Galileo datalogger is designed for use with vibrating wire instruments. Readings are stored in a 2MB flash memory and the saved data can be easily transmitted to a host PC. All dataloggers are controlled by the alpha-numeric keyboard incorporated in the front panel for simple operation. Portable dataloggers are supplied with battery charger, jumper cables, COM cable and SMART operating software.

FIELD MINILOGGERS

ADR Minilogger is a family of compact, multi-channel dataloggers designed for use with vibrating wire and 4-20mA sensors. PC communication is done through its on-board USB or RS485 interface. Readings can be stored in a wide memory, which has a full capacity of 64.000 data (VW Minilogger), and 43.000 data (Mini Datalogger), allowing the possibility for these units to be used as a stand-alone datalogger. Miniloggers are supplied with replaceable batteries (VW model) or 220V (4-20mA model); user could also choose a 20W solar panel kit. Miniloggers are managed by specific software. Using this software the user may program the start time and the acquisition time interval, download and view data (in both tabular and graphical form), perform direct sensor readings and calibrate the unit.

ADK-100 DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM

Sisgeo ADK-100 is a powerful and versatile multifunction datalogger built around the Campbell Scientific CR1000 measurement and control module. A multi-tasking operating system allows simultaneous communication and measurement functions. Multiplexers with built-in over voltage protections provide additional inputs up to 192 analogue or 96 differential channels. ADK-100 datalogger is designed for field use, available in different versions. All versions are housed in water-resistant IP65 stainless steel enclosures. ADK-100 is ideally suited, not only for data logging, but for alarm notification of any sensor parameter when a preset threshold value is exceeded. Control actions can be managed through Multilogger Software.

ADK-100 COMPONENTS

A complete data acquisition system requires additional components such as multiplexer boards, communication modules, safe power supply and enclosure. The ADK-100 datalogger offers a variety of components to meet every client requirements. Communication is assured by direct USB cable connection or through any kind of remote interface (GSM or phone modem, fibre optic, RS485 digital cable, ethernet network, etc…) An extensive range of sensors can be read and stored in any user-selected engineering unit. Each type of sensor can be powered directly from the ADK-100 during measurement by means of specific components. ADK-100 power supply is assured by 220V voltage or through solar panel package supplied with battery and mounting pole.

MULTILOGGER SOFTWARE PACKAGES

ML Software is a 32-bit application designed to manage the data acquired from monitoring instrumentation, whether connected directly to the PC or whether connected to remote accessible PC via communication peripherals. The channel configuration form configures instruments connected via ADK-100 multiplexers and extended parameters refer to special processing that is done such as summing measurements from multiple channels. Each channel could be configured with linear or polynomial coefficients in order to return engineering values. ML Software function is not limited to programming the ADK-100 datalogger, however download, monitoring, alarm management and data collection are also supported.

Additional SW Packages
ML-DB SOFTWARE
It expands the ML software features with an SQL database. Data collected using ML Software may be
imported automatically or manually into the database. When importing data the system configuration is retrieved automatically by ML-DB, this includes channel labelling, alarm types and values.

INSITE SOFTWARE
Insite pack, working only with ML-DB, includes the ability to present a project as a series of  “Image Windows” (schematics, photos or engineering drawings): in that way you will be able to see the instant data directly on the drawing.

JUNCTION AND TERMINAL BOXES

Different models of waterproof junction boxes are available for single or multiple cable entry. Three levels over-voltage protection (OVP) boards are available to be assembled inside the junction boxes or onto DIN guides to protect electrical instruments. Measuring switch boxes are available in different sizes to connect up to 6, 12, 18 or 24 instruments. They are also equipped with up to four 6-position rotary switches and connector for portable readout connection; their waterproof IP67 wall mounting plastic enclosure with front door assures easy mounting and reading operation. Simple measuring boxes are also available to connect up to 3 instruments. They are fitted with waterproof connectors for each sensor input.

READOUT ACCESSORIES AND SPARE PARTS

In order to simplify the mounting, installation and reading procedures, Sisgeo supply a variety of accessories to meet every client’s requirements such as cable splicing kits, connectors and cable end protections. Cable splicing kits for easy and fast cable joints is composed of bi-component epoxy resin, plastic tubes, rubber glands, weldable printed boards and fittings. Cable end protection is a waterproof tube for the protection of the cable wire terminations; available in different sizes to suit all cable diameters. Flying Male waterproof connectors are fitted at factory to the instrument cable for direct connection to the portable readout unit. Sisgeo also supply different accessories and spare parts for portable readouts: battery chargers, jumper cables, etc.

CABLES

Sisgeo cables are designed for a variety of geotechnical and hydro-geological applications, to be embedded in concrete or buried into the soil. In order to increase their performance and to suit every application, Sisgeo cables could have high performance internal strength members and vented cable for automatic compensation of atmospheric pressure for relative pressure transducers. PE internal sheath and PVC external jacket assure waterproof and mechanical properties. Sisgeo cables comply with the following international standards (if applicable):
